Enhance Your Listing with Video

Nomad Stays Adds Video

Nomad Stays is proud to announce that we now support short videos for Stays.

Your can now have a range of videos on display for prospective clients to see more about your property, the region, your services or yourselves as hosts.

The videos will show on your Stay listing page quite high in the page layout.

example

Video Ideas – what shall I show?

Not sure what to show off? Here’s some ideas

  1. Introduce yourselves as hosts
  2. Show off your overall property
  3. Show the surrounding landscape and community
  4. Interview some local hospitality partners like bar tenders, restauranteurs, shopw-keeper etc.

Video standards

As with most things digital nomad there is a strong preference for landscape orientated videos that show well on both laptop as well as mobile.

The quality of the video is the standard phone based quality offered by most smartphones and greater for the past 10 years. Obviously higher quality videos like 4K and 8K videos will enhance your marketing if you have them.

Plus, make sure your video is ‘agent ready’ and doesn’t including things like “book directly with us” or “call us’ or highlights your website for direct bookings. Videos that contain alternative booking facilities will be rejected.

Send Your Videos Directly To Us

When you’re ready to go, please send us your video files directly.

You can use Whatsapp account, email or if they’re too large try a file transfer service.

We will check and load the videos into your account. They will be hosted on our file servers.
