Nomad Stays opens A Pre-Seed Round Opens

It is with great excitement that Nomad Stays opens its first Pre-Seed SAFE round for investors.

Having bootstrapped for 4 years into 80+ countries it’s now time we expanded our business with help from investors.

We are now taking investment up to $1m (approx €910k) as a capped SAFE agreement (with investment from $5k)

Have a little look as to who’s behind Nomad Stays…

$1m round

Being the first investment round, we’ve structured this to take a moderate $1,000,000 investment with 50% of that planned to be spent on sales and marketing.

From $5k

The minimum investment for sophisticated investors is a low $5,000 and maximum of $1m.

SAFE – SIMPLE aGREEMENT for Future Equity

If you’re not familiar with SAFEs, you’ll find comfort in that this investment vehicle is most common early-stage investment product used by startups in the USA for the last 10 years.

SAFE stands for Simple Agreement for Future Equity and is most like a Convertible Note. Its a cash investment that gets converted to preferred share equity in future rounds.

Here is some background from Y-Combinator, the designers of the SAFE product.
